So, how did this whole thing get started?

This project started a long time ago when Peg, Mom, Mom-Mom turned 70 years old. I had been writing more songs in the 80's and many of them were melodies that had been hanging around in my head for years until I began to combine them with scripture. Seeing how God knitted those melodies together with His Word was very encouraging to me and as Mom's 70 birthday approached I asked God for His inspiration again to write a song for Mom. Little did I know THAT would be The Beginning of THIS PROJECT which has given my life so much meaning and fulfillment. A totally unique creative process took a hold over me one day and within about 15 minutes from start to finish, MOM's SONG was written. I was writing, singing and writing so fast I felt an inspiration that has never been repeated. The lyrics on the paper were just jumping out at me, never needing to scratch out any correctlons or adjustments; just ONE continuous flow of thoughts and memories that seemed to capture SO MUCH of what our family was about . . . what Mom was about.
